TriHealth, in partnership with WittKieffer, is conducting a national search for a collaborative and experienced leader to serve as the next Vice President, Managed Care (VP). This leader is a vital member of the organization and is accountable for developing and implementing a strategy for managed care contracts and network development that will support the system’s growth and financial performance. This is a unique opportunity at a world-class health system with a strong track record of innovation and high-quality outcomes, located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

TriHealth is an integrated health care system that originated as a partnership between Good Samaritan Hospital and Bethesda Hospital. Today, it includes over 130 sites of care. Formed in 1995, it is a market-leading health care organization in Greater Cincinnati and is the fourth largest employer in the city of Cincinnati with approximately 11,500 team members.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP will have the opportunity to set the direction for TriHealth's managed care department and initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience balancing fee-for-service negotiations with value-based contracting to support TriHealth's strategy to maintain and continue as the region's leader in population health while also positioning TriHealth strongly to navigate the financial challenges stemming from governmental and commercial payor changes. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills and the ability to effectively present and develop managed care strategies and tactics. Candidates should possess several years of senior management experience in managed care, network development, health/insurance benefit plans, complex reimbursement methodologies, and a passion for quality healthcare, and thrive on working in an organization that delivers outstanding healthcare service.
