Overview

Although Meaningful Use (MU) is a significant national issue for healthcare stakeholders, regional considerations may impact EMR adoption and MU compliance. Such experiences and insights can provide perspective and strategic advantage for California healthcare stakeholders to position themselves toward MU compliance.

On Friday, November 5th, this HealthcareWebSummit event will address those issues. It is co-sponsored by Payers and Providers, and led by experts from the public and private sector, including the California Health Information & Partnership Services Organization (CalHIPSO), HITEC-LA and Sage Healthcare.

About CalHIPSO
CalHIPSO is is an organization founded by clinical providers, for clinical providers to help them successfully navigate through the complicated world of electronic health records (EHR) implementation. Its founding organizations are the California Medical Association (CMA), the California Primary Care Association (CPCA) and the California Association of Public Hospitals & Health Systems (CAPH).

About HITEC-LA
HITEC-LA is the exclusive federally-designated health information technology regional extension center (REC) for Los Angeles County. It is charged with helping doctors and primary care providers purchase, implement and use electronic health records in a meaningful way.
