As Americans are
becoming sicker with higher incidences of multiple chronic conditions,
more of us are shouldering the burden of out-of-pocket expenses—causing
many to delay or forego medical treatment at an even greater cost to
patients, their employers and the entire industry. The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) developed a three-pronged strategy to improve care cost and quality. But only now have advances in technology and communication infrastructure made it possible to truly connect the dots and advance the goals of the Triple Aim via telehealth. Telehealth is a new kind of hero, one that is uniquely poised to transition healthcare to a value-based model and transform a fragmented, dysfunctional system to a platform for equality, enabling unprecedented care access and connectivity. Please join Alan Roga, MD, and Andy Wagner, MD on Thursday, June 18th, 2015 at 2 PM Eastern for: Making the Connection: Using Telehealth to Achieve the Triple Aim.
