There's no easy formula for success under risk-based contracting, but there are some levers accountable care organizations (ACOs) can pull for better performance in value-based care. ACOs need to develop strategies that address the fundamentals of financial performance across any value-based contracts and the specific payment model differences between Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial contracts.

Although many providers struggle with risk-based reimbursement, it's become clear this is a workable model for accountable care organizations that have remained in the rigorous Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). Indeed, NAACO recently announced that ACOs have saved Medicare $3.5 billion over multiple years. Successful pioneers in complex risk-based payment models can offer important lessons to other ACOs.

This session will share some of the key value-based operations and analytics strategies driving ACO success, along with insights into the successes Arcadia customers have experienced under MSSP and Next Generation ACO payment models.

Please join us on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 1 PM Eastern as Arcadia.io's Heather Trafton and Catherine Turbett discuss how Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) can attain success under challenging risk-based payment models in this special 45-minute HealthcareWebSummit event.
