Michael
O'Toole joined Piedmont Healthcare in September 2012 as
Executive Director, Project Management Office. He was
responsible for leading the health system's lean transformation
program. In addition, he led large system-wide strategic
performance improvement projects, supporting Piedmont's
Executive leadership team.
Jenay Beshears
is Infection Prevention Manager for Piedmont Healthcare in
Stockbridge, Georgia. She has been a registered nurse for 25
years. Her specialties include Labor and Delivery, Outpatient
services, Endoscopy, Occupational Health and Infection
Prevention. She has been an Infection Preventionist since 2011,
and received her CIC in 2014.
Paul Suits
is the Director of Infection Prevention at Upstate Medical
University. He has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
and 15 years of experience in the Microbiology laboratory. He
has dedicated 12 years working on Quality improvement projects
in the Infection Prevention department at Upstate Medical
University and is Certified in Infection Control.
An
experienced Intensive Care Unit Nurse, Elizabeth
Hartigan has held various roles in healthcare in her 11
years of practice including critical care staff nurse in both
Medical ICU and Trauma ICU, Medical ICU clinical leader and
educator, MICU assistant nurse manager, and clinical nurse
educator.
