AHIP's State Issues Conference

Boots on the Ground: Perspectives from the State Trades

As leaders on the front lines of health care reform efforts, state health insurance associations are rolling up their sleeves to implement market reforms, modernize Medicaid, and support health benefit exchanges efforts.

At AHIP’s State Issues Conference, October 17-18 in Arlington, Virginia, representatives from state trade associations across the country will provide an on-the-ground assessment of the health reform environment. In the session “Boots on the Ground: Perspectives from the State Trades,” you’ll learn firsthand how health plans are approaching reform to ensure workability with a focus on affordability.
