CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The recent health reform bill introduced by President Obama is going to dramatically alter how employers offer health insurance to retirees. Provisions in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act necessitate that employers closely examine their approach to retiree healthcare and ensure that they have systems in place for controlling costs without compromising the integrity of retiree programs. Several employers are currently contemplating alternative options for achieving these objectives. Given the budget deficits many state and public organizations are facing coupled, with the current downturn economy, how do public and private sector employers deliver quality healthcare while spending less?
In this high-level conference, we answer these questions by bringing together industry and public sector leaders to share their insights and expertise on how the new health legislation will impact retiree healthcare, including challenges and prospects. Our speaking faculty, comprised of employers from for-profit organizations, public retirement systems, higher education institutions and industry experts, reveal best practices for optimizing retiree health benefit strategies in an evolving world. This exclusive event targets senior level public officials and executives in order to maximize educational and networking opportunities.
