	With the recent announcement of planned acquisitions of Cigna and Humana by Anthem and Aetna respectively, we are seeing a rapid acceleration of the consolidation trend being witnessed over the past several years. These developments will have material implications for provider organizations both large and small from a strategic, contracting, and competitive perspective.
