Medicare Conference)
Focus on MA and Part D Compliance – CMS’ Expectations
for Medicare Health and Drug Plans
Medicare Advantage and Part D plan attendees will gain
insight into CMS’ approach to compliance and performance
audits, including CMS’ priority areas of focus for the
current round of audits and how plan performance is
being evaluated and measured. Speakers will also
highlight CMS’ expectations and plan best practices in
such critical areas as the structure and implementation
of compliance plans, strategies for ensuring compliance
with Part D transition-filled policies, and oversight of
broker/agent and plan sales representative
accountability for marketing activities. In addition,
topics will include other Medicare Advantage and Part D
audit issues and plan best practices for preventing and
detecting fraud and abuse.
Exchange Conference - Thursday, September 15 - 16
(immediately following the Medicaid Conference)
This program will focus on issues related to the
role of Medicaid in implementing Health Insurance
Exchanges. Thought leaders will discuss the key issues
related to coordinating coverage and care between
subsidized health insurance coverage available through
Exchanges, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance
Program.
