Accountable Care Organizations were conceptualized to allow health care organizations to improve patient care through greater stakeholder alignment, improved and expanded quality measures, and decreased costs of care.

At Forces of Change, leaders will find many sessions on topics critical to those pursuing an Accountable Care model:

• Improve patient care with Lucian Leape, Michael Dowling, and others with sessions on patient safety and change management
• Advance stakeholder alignment with sessions by David A. Shore and Marc J. Roberts on stakeholder management and alignment

The Crowdsourcing Session on care innovation, brings together a panel of experts in the field of clinical care to discuss methods on the cutting edge of health care (e.g., Accountable Care Organizations, Patient-Centered Medical Homes, etc.) as requested by Forces of Change participants.
