About the AHIP IT Series
As an AHIP IT Series participant, you work toward two
professional designations:

Technology Professional (ITP)
|
Earn the ITP title by passing four current and
relevant online, mobile-friendly courses in any order you want:

Information Technology Fellow (ITF)
|
By earning and maintaining the ITF designation, you
will be kept informed of the latest health care IT needs,
innovations, theories, market trends, and more on an ongoing
basis. Acquire 50 credits within two years to initially gain the
ITF; earn 20 additional credits every subsequent two-year period
to maintain the designation. Credits are obtained by:
- Passing the courses listed above
- Attending specific AHIP webinars, such as
the one titled
ICD-10: A Technology Perspective, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
ET, August 8, 2013 (details coming soon)
- Attending IT workshops
- Joining and participating in the AHIP IT Series LinkedIn group
The AHIP IT Series LinkedIn Group
The AHIP IT Series LinkedIn group is an integral part
of the IT Series. As an IT Series program participant,
you'll earn credits toward the IT Fellow (ITF) designation just by participating
in the discussions. The LinkedIn group provides the opportunity to
interact with a highly targeted group of health care IT
