Depression in the Workplace: Why it Matters and What you Can Do About it

Overview
Only one-third of employees and dependents needing mental health treatment seek it. This webinar, co-sponsored by the National Association of Worksite Health Centers (NAWHC), will provide employers and those working with onsite health and wellness programs with information on a new initiative focused specifically on depression in the workplace, designed and conducted by the Partnership for Workplace Mental Health, an American Psychiatric Association program for employers and Employers Health, a business coalition in Ohio.

The Partnership for Workplace Mental Health's free worksite education program enables employers to raise awareness about depression and increase help-seeking behaviors. It is designed to provide employers with turnkey educational materials they can use to decrease stigma and encourage people to seek help.

Please join Moderator Larry Boress of the National Association of Worksite Health Centers and featured speaker Clare Miller of the American Psychiatric Foundation's Partnership for Workplace Mental Health as they discuss the Partnership's initiative and related issues in a HealthcareWebSummit event on Thursday June 6th, 2013 at 1PM Eastern.
