Introducing AHIP’s Newest Professional
Designation
Healthcare
Compliance ProfessionalTM
AHIP has
created a new Healthcare
Compliance Professional (HCPTM) designation
specifically for individuals who work to meet the regulatory requirements
of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and ensure that their companies meet the
parameters of all of the new rules, regulations, and deadlines. From market
conduct reviews, MLR, and audits to setting up a compliance program, the
educational activities leading up to earning the HCP designation will
help you manage your job functions on a daily basis and plan for long-term
ACA implementation. We invite anyone whose job is impacted by the ACA or
who is responsible for any aspect of compliance to participate in this
program.
How do you earn the Healthcare
Compliance Professional designation?
To earn
the HCP designation,
you must acquire a total of 18 credits by participating in AHIP's
qualifying conferences, workshops, and webinars. Twelve of the 18 credits
must be earned in person. It's up to you how you acquire the other six
credits. The number of credits offered through participation at each event
will vary according to its content and time allotment. The qualifying
events will be listed in AHIP's
online event calendar.
