Direct Contracting Resources

NAACOS is hosting its next Direct Contracting-related webinars on January 23 and February 6. The first webinar, entitled Navigating the Model Matrix: 101, will provide a high-level review of new payment models from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, highlighting key aspects of new models and drawing comparisons to previous, legacy models. The second webinar on February 6 will provide a more in-depth discussion of programs and strategies for participation in multiple models.

NAACOS Direct Contracting Taskforce has several resources already available, including an In-Depth Review of the Direct Contracting Model, a 75-minute overview webinar, and a chart comparing Direct Contracting and other high-risk ACOs. As we formally announced last month, the Taskforce aims to help providers and healthcare organizations fully prepare to assess and participate in this new model by offering a number of resources. We are also actively working to advocate that CMS make improvements to the Direct Contracting Model.

If you are already a NAACOS member, congratulations! You’re automatically enrolled, and these new resources are complimentary to your membership.

For those not yet members of NAACOS, we are offering complimentary access to our Direct Contracting Taskforce. This grants immediate access to NAACOS resources and benefits specific to the Direct Contracting Model that the Taskforce produces, including last week's webinar. The access, which will be valid through December 31, 2020, will guide organizations throughout the application process and implementation period.
