In addition to the National
Policy Forum...
For a single trip, you may also attend AHIP’s
Summit on Shared Accountability (March 5) or AHIP’s
Exchange Conference (March 7-8).
Summit
on Shared Accountability (March 5)
The Summit will continue to showcase innovative models that regional and
national health plans have implemented to achieve the three-part aim. A
variety of approaches such as accountable care organizations,
patient-centered medical homes, and bundled payment will be showcased. The
Summit will highlight key program features, successes, and lessons learned
that can help enhance an understanding of alternative pathways to building
a sustainable, high-quality health care system.
Exchange
Conference (March 7-8)
Exchanges continue to be one of the most pressing health care reform
implementation issues for health plans, states, and national policy makers.
AHIP’s series of Exchange Conferences have addressed the policy and
operational issues over the past year. We continue in 2012 by examining the
critical issues for health plans with a focus on the practical challenges
including the impact of health insurance market reforms, implementation of
premium payments, submission of benefit and rate information to the
Exchange, and the implications for the consumer experience using web
portals to search for insurance options. AHIP’s next Exchange Conference
will provide you with information to stay ahead of implementation.

information and to register, visit the conference
